Local Beaches
Cornwall and Devon offer a spectacular amount of beaches to explore

Calstock/Cotehele
Calstock is a small village located next to the Tamar River. A great place to go for shady walks under trees and along the river. It’s also a great place for children, as there is a ship playground, football green and some of the best ice-cream around. A nice walk is to go along the river, under the train bridge and ending in Cotehele. Cotehele is a Tudor house surrounded by vast garden/orchard estate. Wondering around, you will find several historic buildings, such as a mill and a tower overlooking the river. After your walk you can always grab a bite in the local pub.
